​​HOW DO I CHECK AVAILABILITY AND BOOK A RENTAL?   Availability of each rental unit can be seen in real time by clicking on the desired dates on the calendar within each rental unit listing in the Adventure Rentals section of the website.

WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIRMENT ON RENTAL UNITS?   All Drivers of UTVS must be 22 yrs or older.   Drivers of Slingshots must be 25 yrs or older due to insurance requirements.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Riders of UTVs must be 6+ to ride at many offroad parks and trail systems.   As with most adventure activities, there are inherent risks involved.  All drivers and passengers MUST read and sign a liability release form prior to departure.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RENT?   Valid Driver's License, Personal Insurance policy, Valid Credit Card for the required damage deposit, and purchase of 3rd Party Insurance Policy.

 

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE INSURANCE?  Yes, purchasing 3rd party insurance is mandatory to rent one of our units.  This protects us, as well as you, from excessive repair/replacements bills.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE RENTALS?  Absolutely!  It is your responsibility to bring any required car seat or booster seat for each child and make sure they are properly restrained in the rental vehicles.  If renting a UTV, please also either bring helmets for them, or you may rent from us.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?  YES!  You can bring your pets with you, however if there is excessive hair left behind, there may be an additional cleaning charge, and you are responsible for any damage caused by pets to vehicles.

​

IS ALCOHOL PERMITTED IN THE VEHICLES?  Transportation of alcohol to your destination after purchasing is allowed.  Consumption of alcohol while riding or driving, and intoxicated operation of the rental vehicles are strictly prohibited.

DO YOU DELIVER THE UTVS?  Depending on where you are staying/off-roading, delivery may be available for an additional cost (price dependent on distance), or you can rent one of our utility trailers if your vehicle has towing capability (coming soon).

CAN I GO TO OFF-ROAD PARKS/TRAILS IN MY RENTED UTV?  Absolutely!  That's what they are designed for.  However, Red and Black Trails are prohibited in our rental units, as is riding on private property.  Use your head - NO donuts, NO burnouts, NO drag racing.  If you are caught doing any of these things, you forfeit your deposit.  Excessive tire usage/wear above and beyond normal wear for the miles put on the machine, will be an additional charge.

ARE HELMETS REQUIRED IN UTVS?  Helmets or Windshield are required when driving on the roads in NC, however we recommend children wear helmets at all times when riding in a UTV.  Helmets are required in many offroad parks.  It is your responsibility to check the rules of the park or trail system you will be riding on.  We have helmets available to rent for $10/day if needed.  Goggles are available to purchase in our shop.  If renting a UTV, please also either bring helmets for children, or you may rent from us.  It is your responsibility to bring any required car seat or booster seat for each child and make sure they are properly restrained in the rental vehicles.

DO I NEED TO PUT GAS IN THE VEHICLE BEFORE I RETURN IT?  YES.  All rental units are full upon pickup, and required to be brought back the same way.  Any vehicle not full upon return will have a $50 charge deducted from the deposit.

WHAT IF I AM UNEXPERIENCED AT DRIVING A UTV ON TRAILS?  The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association offers a FREE E-Course (https://rohva.org). This two-hour E-Course is a free, multimedia, interactive online safety course available 24/7. Users can save their progress and stop the E-Course at any time and pick up later where they left off. At the end of the course you have the option to print a Certificate of Completion.  Click https://cbt.rohva.org to begin your training to make your ADVENTURE more safe and enjoyable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT MAKE IT?   We accept cancellations up until 72 hrs ahead of your reserved date without a charge.   Cancellations 48 hrs in advance will have a 10% cancellation fee.  If you fail to show up or cancel 24hrs in advance you will be charged 25% of your rental fee.
